MEDICAL PHOTOGRAPHY, ETHICS AND CARE
Speakers:

We’re asked to handle with care the fragile materials in the archive, and we strive to be careful when sharing certain images. But care can be performed in many different ways, and some care relations can result in an imbalance of power. In the last seminar organised by The Ethics of Medical Photography Network, we will interrogate what we mean by care when dealing with historical medical photographs.from the perspectives of a practising artist, a sociologist and a historian.
The aim of the seminar will be to encourage discussion, so we will have plenty of time for questions.
